2021 Non-Executive Director Awards

Why should I nominate?
–   Great press and recognition for the individual/ company that you put forward.
–   It will only take 5 minutes to fill out the online form – You only have to complete Stage 1. If you have any problems please let me know.
–   Please note that the nominator is kept anonymous from the individual that has been nominated unless you choose to tell them at a later stage.

What is the NED Awards?
The NED Awards were set up by Peel Hunt in 2006 to recognise the achievements of NEDs within the Business and Not-For-Profit/Public Sector communities and we have been sponsoring for a number of years The awards ceremony will be taking place on Thursday 25th March 2021.

Selection Process
Stage 1
– Fill out an initial online nomination form http://www.nedawards.co.uk/nominate/

Stage 2 – Once your nomination has been submitted, the NED Awards team will contact a board member to complete a detailed form.

Stage 3 – Professors from Cranfield & Henley University will then process the nominations and produce a shortlist of the best candidates per category.

Stage 4 – At this point the sponsor of each category has an informal conversation with each nominee and finds out what motivates them, what they feel their strong points are etc.

Stage 5 – A judges’ pack is compiled with information on each of the candidates on the shortlist.

Stage 6 – The judges then meet to discuss the nominations at length and a shortlist of three per category is selected, the winner is included in the shortlist.
