Every day, the Boudicca team monitors social media activities relating to our clients. For the largest transactions and contentious or contested proposals, we also include detailed monitoring of social media and retail-focused information outlets in this exercise. Any noise of relevance – positive or negative – is fed back to you and your IR team.
Such information outlets, although often centred on retail investors and their personal opinions, may also help us gauge shareholder sentiment towards the transaction and identify additional effort required on particular data sets to address shareholder concerns.
